The mikasa wedding favors

All the reception tables were set up with lovely mikasa crystal accessories at a wedding I attended last week. They had mikasa wedding favors and mikasa crystal glassware on every reception table. The bride decorated her whole wedding and all the reception tables with such excellent taste. The mikasa accessories she had really added sparkle and elegance to her already beautiful table settings.
They had little silver doves as the place card holders, and on the end of their tails were little place cards with a bride and groom printed on them. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. They also chose very impressive thank you gifts for all of the guests. Each one of us received beautiful mikasa crystal wedding favors. The beautiful mikasa crystal was packaged in such lovely favor boxes with nice little thank you hang tags attached.
Deep chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese topping each of the five layers with the fantastic wedding cake they had. She topped the wedding cake with a very exceptional wedding cake topper. She found a place online where she got most of her accessories and supplies that make customized cake toppers. The bride and groom on the cake topper look just like the wedding couple and they did this with only a couple head shot photos of the bride to be and her fiance. It was absolutely perfect. I was determined to find out what the name of her online wedding store was so I could have them make up a cake topper like that for my mom and dads’ anniversary wedding.
One of the highlights of the evening was when the bride gave up her garter for the toss. Seeing all those men as their excitement grew when the garter was being removed by the groom. All of them were reaching and pushing into each other with the sole objective of being the one to take home the brides garter. The funniest part though, is that the winner of the garter toss was a widower in his 70’s that didn’t even want to participate in the toss. The old guy walked away with a big smile on his face.
To toast the bride and groom we were given champagne flutes that had the bride and grooms name printed on them with the date of the wedding ceremony, and we got to take these home as keepsakes of the celebration. After the best man said his speech and we toasted the bride and groom, it was time for their first dance together as man and wife. They looked so fantastic up there dancing together. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. I think I over extended myself on the dance floor, my feet ached so badly.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. I found out from one of the other guests that they were going to Hawaii for their honeymoon. They’ll have a honeymoon to equal this fabulous wedding and reception. The remaining guests stayed behind for hours and continued to party.
A couple of weeks later, I received a thank you note from the bride and groom for the wedding gift and for attending. She must have sent out her thank you cards as soon as she got back from her honeymoon. I did manage to get the information on the website that she ordered everything for  mikasa wedding from and the unique wedding cake topper too. So today, I’m placing my order for the special cake topper and other accessories for my parents special renewal ceremony and reception.
