Exquisite Wedding Favor Heart!

We were only a couple of months away from our wedding day and I hadn’t gotten anything done yet. We decided to have a hearts wedding with little symbols of love and romance everywhere. I wanted to have a big heart made of flowers that was displayed like an arch at the front of the reception hall where the band would be, and lots of flowers everywhere. I wanted to find exquisite little heart wedding favors for our friends and family and an extra special hearts wedding favor for my special maid of honor. So far I’ve gotten as far as making out a guest list.

But that was only the beginning, after I mailed out the invitations I had to start planning the décor and ordering the supplies I would need. I bought large scarlet bows made of velvet to put on the church pews with a ribbon that would run from one pew to the next.   The unity candle we used had a design of tiny roses put together to form a heart shape on the front of it, and the rest of the candle decorations made the altar look exquisite. There were also red and pink roses to help with the décor of the wedding site and red and white roses in my bridal bouquet. It may have been a touch extravagant, but I’ve always wanted to have doves released as we left the church building, so we did, and it I thought it was wonderful.
Everyone had their wedding attire taken care of, including our little flower girl and ring boy. I picked out a white satin basket that had bows and lace decorating it for our flower girl. The rings also had a white satin ribbon on them, with a white pillow that had a gold double hearts wedding insignia on it for our ring bearer. I had a mini tiara for the flower girl to wear in her hair that looked very much like the one I ordered for myself. She did look like a little princess in her lovely little pink flower girl dress, and she did such a super job in the ceremony. So did the ring boy, he was quite elegant in his little tuxedo with a red boutonniere in his lapel. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. They both made me very proud.
For our wedding reception I had centerpieces made up of red, white and pink roses with little valentine hearts arranged in with the flowers. I got a place card holder that was the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. I ordered beautiful little silver bells with a heart shaped handle that make a very lovely keepsake from our wedding day for each of our guests. There were frosting hearts all around the bottom layer of our wedding cake, and each layer was decked out in pink and red roses all around. On top sat our very special keepsake hearts wedding cake topper made of white porcelain, which looked so elegant with all the other cake decorations.
Our entire wedding day called to mind love and Valentine’s Day, filled with flowers and hearts galore. Thank goodness for the world wide web, which certainly saved me a ton of time and hassle.

Exquisite Heart Wedding!

What could be more romantic than a wedding ceremony held in the month of Februrary? Putting the symbol of love all around our wedding day struck me as a wonderful way to celebrate marriage. My initial purchase was a stunning tiara that I discovered while browsing on the web. The thank you gifts I selected were just one of many supplies that I needed to buy for the wedding theme. The invitations I sent out were little cards with two little silver hearts on the front. The only thing I really had to do was write in the information, like the place and the date, and the rest was already filled out in beautiful calligraphy when we got them.
But that was only the beginning, after I mailed out the invitations I had to start planning the décor and ordering the supplies I would need. I selected a red velvet set of ribbons and bows that I would put on the end of and string between the church pews. The unity candle we used had a design of tiny roses put together to form a heart shape on the front of it, and the rest of the candle decorations made the altar look exquisite. There were also red and pink roses to help with the décor of the wedding site and red and white roses in my bridal bouquet. I even went as far as to have caged doves to be released as we exited the church.
The wedding apparel that would be worn by those who were going to be in the wedding had already been selected. As a flower girl basket, I decided to go with a gorgeous white satin with lovely lace and satin bows on each side. For the ring boy to carry down the aisle I ordered a gorgeous white double hearts wedding pillow with the two gold hearts entwined, and a white satin ribbon for the rings. I had a mini tiara for the flower girl to wear in her hair that looked very much like the one I ordered for myself. She wore a pretty pink dress, made for a flower girl, and she did such a wonderful job as a flower girl and looked so brilliant that I thought she did look like royalty. The ring boy was just as cute in his small tuxedo and red boutonniere, and he did his task just as well. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. I was so proud of both of them.
The tables that our reception each had a floral arrangement of pink, red, and white roses with small hearts mixed in with them in the center of the table. I got a favors that were the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. I ordered beautiful little silver bells with a heart shaped handle that make a very lovely keepsake from our wedding day for each of our guests. Our wedding cake was decorated with little hearts all around the bottom layer and little tiny pink and red roses trimmed each layer. On top sat our very special keepsake hearts wedding cake topper made of white porcelain, which looked so elegant with all the other cake decorations.
Our entire hearts wedding day was a total success, from the lovely invitations down to the exquisite hearts wedding favors we had for our friends and family. I know they will treasure their hearts wedding favor as much as we treasure their love for us.

Unique hearts wedding favors!

You can definitely call their wedding romantic with all the heart wedding accessories they had for decoration. From the invitations to the wedding favors everything had cute little hearts on it. The RSVP info was printed on the attractive and unique heart favors, which each had a pair silver hearts on their covers. With the silver on them, they were rather striking. Two wee hearts hung from their unity candle, which was flanked by taper candles sitting in very fine-looking holders. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. They even had hearts hung on the end of each pew with the tulle draping from row to row. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. I have to admit it was a beautiful ceremony and the bride was simply stunning.
Flowers and hearts abounded at the reception dinner. White roses, and some red ones, were placed in the middle of each table, and the place cards were put in holders designed around a silver hearts wedding. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. The bride arranged the tables beautifully. The champagne flutes were long stemmed crystal and the wine glasses were personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the date of their wedding. The champagne glasses on bride and groom table were really something special. They had a silver double hearts wedding insignia embossed on them, very similar to the hearts wedding invitation they sent out.
The hearts wedding cake they had made had five layers and it was delicious. The cake was a dream for both the eyes and the stomach. The cake topper she chose, believe it or not, wasn’t a heart, but, figurines that looked exactly like the bride and groom. That cake topper was one of a kind, and it was the first time I’ve ever seen something like that. She found it online at the same place she got the rest of the items she needed for her ceremony and reception. From a few pictures of the two of them, they created a look-alike cake topper figurine for each of them; it was very impressive. Something like this has to be a really super wedding keepsake.
In the end, we gave a hearts wedding to all of the guests. First there was a lovely votive candle holder and also coffee favors decorated in a groom package for the men and a bride package for the ladies, with little heart shaped coffee scoops. I thought that was really a cute idea they came up with. Actually they had a lot of cute ideas for the ceremony and reception. Obviously, Valentine’s Day made the hearts thing a natural fit, but the way she did it was quite classy. I really thought the wedding cake topper was the most awesome of all. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She informed me that they had products for any kind of gathering you might be throwing, and she agreed to show me the website. They couldn’t have put it together any better, and all of the people who went had a smashing time there. Their Mexico honeymoon is probably even more fun than the wedding was. When they get back home, I’m anxious to look through their pictures with them, and hear about all the fantastic things we saw and did in Mexico. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.
